My first entry to my new Blog, thanks to my wonderful friend Amy in Sunny California. :) I have been browsing her blog for quite some time & really like the idea, so I asked her how to pursue one. So here I am!
TODAY
I am not sure where to start this-but I have to first admit, today has been the laziest day I have had in weeks! My boys left to go to their dads house at 7am this morning, and back to bed I went until 2pm! It was so nice to sleep the day away. No worrying about hauling the kids to Preschool, or picking them up either. Sleep, sleep, sleep...ahhhhhhh. And now that I am thinking about it, I am ready for a nap! HA! Well I have been sick also-some sinus & coughing crap, so I could use the rest. I hate being sick-good thing I didn't kiss my date last night! I'd hate to pass this crud on to anyone.
ABOUT LAST NIGHT...
Oh yes, about last night...I have recently been doing the dating scene, so I had a date with a guy I gave my number to at a Hell's Belles performance at the nightclub Hell's Kitchen in Tacoma on Friday the 26th. His name is Nick, he's 30 (will be 31 on the 6th) & he's a bouncer at the Kitchen. Very tall and handsome guy! But I am a little unsure about him since he is very quiet & reserved. He's great to talk to, but he's hard to read, if you catch my drift. I don't think he's a player, so there's a plus.
HOW I MET NICK
Well at the Hell's Belles performance, Nick was up by the side of the stage where my girlfriend & I hang out to watch the show (away from the mosh pit). I thought he was working, so of course I didn't want to bother him, but I had my eye on him the whole night. He's very tall (almost 6'5") and built, so of course I checked him out. I love tall guys & I don't see many at the clubs we go to, so he definitely caught my eye! So after the show, I prowled him down & went up to him, asked him if he had a girlfriend & luckily he said no, so I asked him if he'd like to go out some time. I gave him my number & told him to call me. He did say something that I was a bit disappointed about...he said that if he didn't call me that I knew where to find him. Well if that isn't a turn down, I don't know what is! But I took it lightly & figured we'd see what happens.
When my girlfriend and I got in the car to leave the Kitchen, I mentioned to her that I asked him if he had a girlfriend, but didn't ask him if he had a wife! DOH! You can never trust those men! Especially the ones that are married! HA!
