I was actually happy to hear from him & like I have said in the past (yet pretty recently), if my father showed up at my door today, I would still welcome him with open arms. We chatted a bit, found out that he had no idea that he has twin, 8 year old grandsons & he seemed a bit excited about that, talking about taking them fishing, etc. Well, we will see…he's obviously always been a flaky one. So, he tells me that he's going to sell a bunch of his crap & move up this way in April, after living in Mexico for over 20 years. Wow! That would be neat, but yet I am not sure how things will play out. I only saw my father a half dozen times when I was 6ish, then ran into him at a 4th of July party when I was 13, & then met him again (& my 13 year old brother) & went camping & to the ocean when I was 17 (1994). So if this really happens, it will really change my life. I have never truly had a father figure in my life except for my step father for 5 years & then my grandfather. I'm almost scared, yet excited, especially for my kids to see my father. We will see if this really happens this spring...

The life guide...

So Costco isn't just a place to shop, it's a complete lifestyle. Holy crap! What do we care?! And who says that a hot pink beret is a "fashion mishap"? If the media wasn't so freakin' concerned with what stars are wearing, maybe our children wouldn't grow up so worried about what others think and having low self esteem! I grew up being bullied and still have a little bit of issues with what people think. I have definitely grown up, but deep down inside if I see someone look at me weird, I get a little self conscience. I try so hard to teach my kids to be outgoing & friendly to everyone no matter what they look like or how much money they have. Ha. I may be wrong, but I do not remember learning cursive till at least 4th grade when I was in school. I am excited since this season seems to go back to the basics of the original Big Brother with the HouseGuests being all strangers. It's a HUGE mix of ages this year too. Ranging from 22 to 75! The majority are in their 20's & 30's. I honestly think the 75 year old man, Jerry, and 53 year old, Renny, have a major disadvantage. I don't think they will last very long, sadly. I am wondering what twists they will have this season too. I thought the last season's twist "Till Death Do Us Part", paring the HG's as couples, really stunk. Hopefully this season will be fun. And I also hope the viewers get more control over who stays & who goes. Oh, and the house is totally rad (yes, that's an 80's saying). Every room has a theme, from an 80's style bedroom, 50's diner kitchen, to a Penthouse style HOH bedroom. It already looks like an exciting summer at Big Brother 10! Tune in Tuesdays @ 9pm, Wednesdays @ 8pm, and Sundays @ 8pm. I am a bit shocked that a president hopeful (no, I do not endorse him) is already regretting public relations he's doing. And honestly, I think it was nice to see that he's a normal human being and lives a somewhat normal life with a family. I actually chuckled a bit when I saw clips of the interview. His daughters are very sweet and cute and bust on their dad a few times. So anyways, I am just a bit annoyed that Obama regrets, after watching the interview, publicizing his daughters. Come on, get real! You want to be a world leader and you want to hide your personal life from it? Ha! Time for a reality check Doofbama!

Gonna do this!

Here we go again. Well gonna try! I have to laugh at my first post. That relationship actually lasted 2 1/2 years, but failed because of another woman, as it seems to always happen to me. UGH! I know there were reasonings he obviously looked for love elsewhere. Cuz I am a complete BITCH! Hahaha... Actually it's prolly because I wanted to have a future, a life...he worked at the place we met, under the table, and didn't want to work anywhere else. So we'd probably live with my mom forever and never have a real life. So my bitching and bickering prolly made him look elsewhere for someone else who could "settle" for him. Well, hope that works out. He's still working at that bar, as a door boy, and prolly under the table. Good grief!

Anyways, I enjoy writing blogs & sharing other stories, ideas & whats on my mind. I also think it's therapy for me. HA! Getting my thoughts out to the world makes me feel that much normal. So yeah, whatever.

My first entry to my new Blog, thanks to my wonderful friend Amy in Sunny California. :) I have been browsing her blog for quite some time & really like the idea, so I asked her how to pursue one. So here I am!

TODAY
I am not sure where to start this-but I have to first admit, today has been the laziest day I have had in weeks! My boys left to go to their dads house at 7am this morning, and back to bed I went until 2pm! It was so nice to sleep the day away. No worrying about hauling the kids to Preschool, or picking them up either. Sleep, sleep, sleep...ahhhhhhh. And now that I am thinking about it, I am ready for a nap! HA! Well I have been sick also-some sinus & coughing crap, so I could use the rest. I hate being sick-good thing I didn't kiss my date last night! I'd hate to pass this crud on to anyone.

ABOUT LAST NIGHT...
Oh yes, about last night...I have recently been doing the dating scene, so I had a date with a guy I gave my number to at a Hell's Belles performance at the nightclub Hell's Kitchen in Tacoma on Friday the 26th. His name is Nick, he's 30 (will be 31 on the 6th) & he's a bouncer at the Kitchen. Very tall and handsome guy! But I am a little unsure about him since he is very quiet & reserved. He's great to talk to, but he's hard to read, if you catch my drift. I don't think he's a player, so there's a plus.

HOW I MET NICK
Well at the Hell's Belles performance, Nick was up by the side of the stage where my girlfriend & I hang out to watch the show (away from the mosh pit). I thought he was working, so of course I didn't want to bother him, but I had my eye on him the whole night. He's very tall (almost 6'5") and built, so of course I checked him out. I love tall guys & I don't see many at the clubs we go to, so he definitely caught my eye! So after the show, I prowled him down & went up to him, asked him if he had a girlfriend & luckily he said no, so I asked him if he'd like to go out some time. I gave him my number & told him to call me. He did say something that I was a bit disappointed about...he said that if he didn't call me that I knew where to find him. Well if that isn't a turn down, I don't know what is! But I took it lightly & figured we'd see what happens.

When my girlfriend and I got in the car to leave the Kitchen, I mentioned to her that I asked him if he had a girlfriend, but didn't ask him if he had a wife! DOH! You can never trust those men! Especially the ones that are married! HA!

The Night After
